SHEFFIELD are pushing all the right prizemoney buttons and have been doing so for a while now so owners and trainers nationwide will be rubbing their hands in glee - not to mention eager anticipation - with the news that more than £20,000 will be lavished on them between now and Christmas via a series of open races.

Their usual midweek opens, all worth £200 to the winner, are to continue thanks to the track bookmakers while a series of £2,000 to the winner events are planned along with the £1,000 Ryan  Holmes Puppy Cup between now and Yuletide.
